All magicians and mentalists cheat, so why not just create a trick by cheating? In this video we will look at different ways of cheating your way through a magic trick. Some of the methods that we can use to cheat are:

- Making more than one prediction, as we saw in VISA, or by using a gimmicked envelope as in the six envelopes trick, or as we will see in one of the “book test” tricks.
- Cold-reading & shot-gunning versus hot-reading
- Using the hot-reading concept (knowing information about a student beforehand) to create magic tricks.
