Hi, I’m Alan Smith Robertson; linguaphile, ESL teacher, frustrated musician & computer geek.
I’ve been living in Spain, where I work as an ESL teacher, since 1994, though I’ve also done some translation and interpretation work. I speak English, Spanish, French, Italian, and a little bit of Portuguese. I’m also currently studying Japanese. In my free time I enjoy doing magic tricks, which I’ve incorporated into my ESL classes, messing around with computers and playing music (flute & bass guitar).
